Mission Statement

The Korean Society for Journalism & Communication Studies (카지노 룰렛) is a non-profit, academic organization for scholars, students, and professionals interested in the study, education, and application of journalism and communication. Founded in 1959 by Professor Bok-San Kwak, 카지노 룰렛 is the oldest and largest national association striving to promote journalism and communication scholarship and to maintain the freedom of expression in Korea.

The purposes of the 카지노 룰렛 are

  • to provide a forum for the development, conduct, and evaluation of journalism and communication research
  • to facilitate exchange and debate among scholars and professionals on journalism and communication-related issues and
  • to advance the highest standard for education in such fields

Journals

The 카지노 룰렛 publishes three peer-reviewed journals,Korean Journal of Journalism & Communications, Communication Theories, and Asian Communication Research, which are the leading pulications in their areas of specialty. Starting 2010, these journals are available online only. A limited number of copies are printed for libraries, institutional members, and authors of published manuscripts.
